Founded in 1928, Miller Electric is the leading commercial electrical contractor in the Southeast. Joining the company in 2001, Brown has been CEO since 2012. Under his leadership, the company has more than quadrupled in volume and expanded to more than 4,500 employees.

FIRST JOB: I started my career with Deloitte in their Jacksonville office as an auditor.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: I think I would enjoy designing and building luxury homes.

INDUSTRY TREND: The proliferation of data centers is the most significant trend impacting the electrical contracting industry. AI is significantly driving the demand for data center construction. AI technology requires vast amounts of computing power, which in turn requires vast amounts of electricity to power servers and to cool those servers.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: I’m a first-generation college graduate and proud Stetson Hatter.
