Nopetro Energy designs, finances, builds, owns and operates renewable natural gas production and distribution facilities to supply heavy-duty transportation. With 35 employees, the company is expanding nationally, delivering transportation energy solutions to government and Fortune 500 fleets.

FIRST JOB: I began my career as a lawyer at the start of the Great Recession practicing securities defense with Bressler, Amery & Ross.

DREAM ALTERNATE CAREER: Movie producer

MENTEE IMPACT: One of our team members who started as a bookkeeper had a long-standing goal of becoming a CPA. I helped him map out a plan, build confidence and stay focused while working full-time. He passed the CPA exam and now works as an accountant. It was a reminder that sometimes people just need someone to believe in them and give them the space to grow.

SOMETHING SURPRISING: Music is a huge part of my life. There’s music always playing in the house, and I never miss a chance to go to a concert. It brings me joy, fills the space with energy and helps me tap into distant happy memories. I’ve even started learning guitar.
